Kish, Iran
1 of the places I felt scared traveling of. But nevertheless, considered 1 of the most adventurous experience I ever did. Camera used is just a point & shoot with 1MP. If you can imagine.

On July 26, 1966, Kish Island residents saw a huge ship beached on the western coral coast of the island. Most people believe that the ship ran aground because there are few lighthouses in the area or the captain made a navigation error. Several experts assessed that it was not practical to move the ship. The decision was made to keep it in place. (*Wikipedia)

Ruins of Harireh

Some say Harireh was first built sometime between the late Sasanid period and the early Islamic era. Harireh was quite popular during the Saljuks and Atavakan of Fars. An Iranian cultural heritage organization has verified that Harireh is at least 800 years old.
